Semester ends in two weeks or so, and I still have yet to...

+ create an android app;
+ finish 10 business modelling assignments;
+ finish ⅗ of database course assignments;
+ finish 3 systems design assignments.

And it was so bold of me to assume that I will be able to do any of these after touching the grass...

After a week or so of actively casting #runes for me and for people I know (consently, of course) I can confirm that they not just work, they are pretty accurate with telling the truth too!

So, how did I acquire the runes? I saw them for sell at a themed convention, and I felt like I must buy them as if I were destined to be there at that time to buy these runes. They must've called for me. Now I'm studying their names and meanings, casting every night to see what awaits me the next day.

So, if you want more #magic in your life, start casting runes! Though, make sure to venerate them and remember that with great power comes great responsibility.

The recent XZ Utils incident—even though the issue was resolved quite swiftly—has shown that Free software developed mostly by enthusiasts is vulnerable.

As for me, I admire minimalistic programs written in the C programming language. One of such programs is "snac", and the idea behind it is fantastic. But look at this issue:

A new bug was introduced as a result of working on the project, and the bug persisted even after the developer was sure to have fixed it. The developer did a great job though, resolving the issue eventually.

I believe that people should pay as much attention to processes or protocols of development as to choosing a technology stack. Many bugs could be caught if code was well reviewed, tested, checked with static code analyzers and verified.

It isn't enough to be a good programmer to create and maintain a cool project, one has to know how to test written software and how to develop and maintain processes :akkocultured:

In order to make software written in the C programming language more robust and resilient, one might want to consider using Frama-C and learning about a coding standard MISRA C, even though it has its critics).

The former will help analyze source code of a program in addition to lots of wonderful features such as formal verification and validation, and the latter will provide one with information about typical coding patterns that might cause bugs.
